Piramal Expand their Business Development Team

The Piramal Clinical Trial Services team are pleased to welcome three new Business Development Managers.

Gillian McInnes, Chris Williams and Phil Smith have been appointed to help grow Piramal's global Clinical Trial Services business.

Gillian arrives at Piramal Clinical Trial Services following 12 years working in the CRO industry, previously focusing in the GLP/GCP driven environments; Preclinical and Phase I/II. She has extensive experience in both strategic management, business development and operational project management roles held with Charles River, Quintiles Clinical and most recently Pharmaceutical Profiles. The move to Piramal allows her to further develop skills in the GMP area of the drug development industry. Gillian has recently returned to her native Scotland.

Chris has recently joined the BD team after working for a niche CRO selling specialised clinical Data Management, Statistical Analysis and Medical Writing services to Pharma companies and other CROs involved in all phases of clinical development. Prior to this he worked for over 20 years for a software house which developed specialised software solutions for Toxicologists involved in safety assessment studies in the pre-clinical phase of drug development. He has worked in GLP, GCP and GMP environments. Chris lives in the north-west of England with his wife and 2 children. He enjoys travel, photography and has a soft spot for nice cars.

Phil joins Piramal with almost 20 years sales & marketing experience in the life sciences sector. He has held roles in both pharmaceutical research (GLP/GCP) and GMP production environments, and has experience in clinical drug development, clinical trials, strategic planning, customer relationship management and Global sales. Phil has worked for STERIS, Fisher Scientific and most recently Aptuit. Phil lives in the South West of the UK with his wife, daughter and dog.
